Bible Core Course
The BCC is a 12 week course designed to give you a thorough understanding of the inductive approach to Bible study, equipping you with many tools for integrating the Word of God into your personal life, and using it as a foundation for ministry.
You will learn how to employ many creative and diverse methods for reading, interpreting and applying the scriptures. The Bible is the textbook, and topics include Old and New Testament History, Biblical Geography, Preaching and Teaching Skills, and memorising and meditating on Scripture.
This school will help you develop a strong biblical foundation that will benefit both your personal life and your calling. You will have opportunities to be involved in topical seminars, dramatic recreations, and various forms of research, including historical, archaeological, literary and geographical studies.
During the course, you’ll read through the whole bible and study many individual books in depth from both old and new testaments. You will have the opportunity to work with every form of literature in the bible, including the Gospels, the Epistles, the Torah, the Prophetic and Poetical books.
Where does the BCC lead?
Although the BCC is a stand-alone course it is designed to be compatible with the longer 9 month SBS (School of Biblical Studies) and upon successful completion of the BCC, you can proceed onto the 2nd and 3rd quarters of SBS if you desire. Looking intently into the Word of God brings freedom.
Who can apply?
The BCC is open to any graduate of a Discipleship Training School (DTS). Young and old from all nations study with us. if you’ve got a heart to know God through studying the Bible then this is for you! No previous Bible College/Study is required.

- You will have teaching on the cultural background behind the books
- Having read each book in the Old and New Testaments, you will know the structure and main ideas of each book
