Update on Coronavirus (COVID-19)

G’Day from Sydney,

Updated March 23rd 2020

We are daily monitoring the continued outbreak of coronavirus (Covid-19). We deeply desire to respond in faith and are continuing in prayer while also recognising the impact this virus is having globally and within Australia.

YWAM Sydney Island Breeze is committed to:

  • Taking the precautionary measures to keep all our facilities clean and safe for allincluding sanitation, temperature testing, and monitoring of access to the campus.
  • Following the guidelines and recommendations of the World Health Organisation (WHO)and thAustralian Government Department of Health.
  • Timely and relevant communication with all our teams, visitors, participants, and campus residents about important changes and updates related to COVID-19

Following the advice of the governing bodies we have made the decision to cancel out schools due to start in April 2020. You are still welcome to apply for our September DTS and our schools that will be running in 2021. We  encourage potential participants to be aware of the latest updates from Australian Department of Home affairs  as well as their country of origin. We are monitoring these changes as well. Also unfortunately at this time we are unable to accept visitors to our campus, as much as we love to be open and welcoming you into our campus it is not possible to do so at this time. Due to the advice of the governing bodies and health experts we have made the decision to not accept outside guests. We will be looking forward to connecting with you all as soon as it is safe to do so.

May we all join in faith as we pray for healing for all affected, wisdom for our global leaders, and supernatural peace for those experiencing fear in this difficult season.

If you have any questions please feel free to email info@ywamibs.org.

Sincerely,

Leadership Team
