Acknowledgement of Financial Responsibility

I confirm that I understand payment of the required school tuition and fees must be paid two weeks before the school commences, unless otherwise arranged with school leader, and I agree to do so. I also confirm that I am fully aware of my financial obligations, both to the Lord and to the students and staff at the school. I therefore accept all responsibility for my fees, tuition and personal expenses incurred during my enrolment at Youth With A Mission Sydney (Island Breeze).

Burial Release

In the case of death during my involvement with YWAM; I wish that my next of kin be advised as soon as practicable and that their wishes with regards to my funeral and disposal of my body be complied with so long as my next of kin places YWAM in sufficient funds to carry out those wishes. In the case where YWAM is unable to contact my next of kin or that my next of kin are unable or unwilling to give directions as to funeral and disposal of my body and a reasonable time, then I direct YWAM at its sole discretion make arrangements for funeral and body disposal (incl. burial in a foreign country) at the expense of my estate.

Release of Liability

I do hereby release Youth With A Mission Sydney Inc, its agents, employees and volunteer assistants from any liability what so ever arising out of any injury, damage or loss which may be sustained by said person during the course of involvement with Youth With A Mission.

Consent for Treatment

I hereby agree to the performance of such treatment, anaesthetics and operations as is deemed necessary in the opinion of the attending physician.

Refund Policy

Prior to commencement of the course:
* Cancelled course - fees paid back in full, excluding application fee ($60)
* Visa is denied - fees paid back in full, excluding application fee ($60)
* Voluntary Withdrawal (more that 28 days prior to commencement of school) - fees paid back in full, excluding application fee ($60)
* Voluntary Withdrawal (less than 28 days prior to commencement of school) - fees paid back, excluding application fee ($60) and non-refundable enrolment deposit ($150)

After Commencement of the course
* Prior to first class session - 100% of tuition, excluding enrolment deposit
* During first week of classes - 90% of tuition, excluding enrolment deposit
* During second week of classes - 60% of tuition, excluding enrolment deposit
* During third or fourth week of classes - 30% of tuition, excluding enrolment deposit
* After fourth week of classes - 0% refund

Field Assignment (outreach) Phase

Field Assignment Costs - Non refundable, except under special circumstances (poor health, etc.). In such case, refunds will only be given on any un-spent fees and at the discretion of the Training Director.

* To apply for a refund, please write/email the Accounts Department (accounts@ywamibs.org) requesting the refund
* All refunds will be given in Australian dollars unless the method of payment is impractical or requested by the student.
* Refunds will be paid only to the person who has entered into the course unless the person directs us in writing for it to be paid to someone else.
* Refunds will be paid no later than 4 weeks after the student’s written request.
* If you feel you’ve been dealt with unfairly, any student may access our complaints and appeals procedure. If the student still does not feel justified this agreement does not remove the right of the student to take action under Australia’s consumer protection laws.
